Rare Harvests
A lone figure standing still on a quiet, misty shoreline

It started with a question, not a business plan.

On a Sunday evening, Devesh and Yashi found themselves asking something simple, and a little uncomfortable: they had the space, the will, and each other — so why weren't they doing anything with it?

The conversation turned to a bigger question underneath that one.

Why should rare, unique, nutritionally rich crops stay rare — expensive, hard to find, grown for the few who can afford them? What would it actually take to grow them properly, and make them available at prices that didn't put them out of reach?

That question became Rare Harvests: a commitment to democratizing access to crops that deserve to be everyday food, not occasional luxury.

Mushrooms came first — not because they were the ambition, but because they were the practical way in. The right crop to prove the model, build the discipline, and learn the craft of controlled cultivation before taking on anything harder.

They won't be the last.

Saffron, cordyceps, strawberries, lettuce, and whatever else earns a place on that list — Rare Harvests is built to grow into all of it, one crop proven at a time.
